Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

It is a legal requirement for conventional residential property to have a valid EPC before it can be sold. An EPC assesses the energy performance of a property and will also show a building's environmental impact by indicating its carbon dioxide emissions. It must be carried out by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. A valid EPC will last for 10 years and can be used for your sale or letting requirements during that period. Tate Partnership will arrange for an EPC to be carried out on your behalf in order to avoid any delays in the sale. The cost of an EPC is £50 + VAT.
